The general director of the Natural Environment, Environmental Education and Climate Change, Neus Lliteras, met Friday with a delegation of environmental technical Chilean Government to address issues related to the collection and further processing of waste, landfill closure and management of hazardous waste.

    Technicians of the Department of Agriculture reported the Chilean delegation how they are treated in the community Balearic different types of waste and what are the environmental policies that apply.

     Chilean officials have shown particular interest in how it conducts separate collection in municipalities that make up the Commonwealth of Pla de Mallorca, specifically in the municipality of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar.
