Tianjin launch inspections management companies hazardous materials

Security checks, which began Sunday and will continue until the end of this year, aim to companies that produce, store or use hazardous chemicals, as well as a government spokesman companies transporting dangerous goods, Xinhua said Monday area.

Two explosions took place in a warehouse at 23:30 on August 12 in the port of Tianjin where large quantities of toxic chemicals are stored, including around 700 tons of sodium cyanide. The explosions left a toll of more than 160 dead.
