Un escape de un camión que transportaba mercancías peligrosas activa Transcat
Amposta. (EFE).- La Dirección General de Protección Civil de la Generalitat ha activado preventivamente a las 4:08 horas de hoy el Plan especial de emergencias en el transporte de mercancías peligrosas (Transcat), por una pequeña fuga de la carga de un camión que transportaba mercancías peligrosas en el término municipal de Amposta.
El camión, cargado con oxígeno líquido refrigerado (ONU 1073), perdía carga por una válvula por posible sobrepresión cuando se encontraba en la avenida de la Generalitat de Amposta, a la altura de la comisaría de los Mossos.
La cisterna del camión, que estaba prácticamente vacía, contenía 500 litros de producto pero ha derramado una pequeña cantidad, sin afectación al medio.
Al lugar se desplazaron 3 dotaciones de Bomberos de la Generalitat, Mossos d'Esquadra y la Policía Local.
A las 7.15 horas, se ha desactivado el Transcat una vez reparada la fuga y asegurado el camión, por lo que el conductor ha reiniciado la marcha.
Según Protección Civil, "en ningún momento ha habido peligro para la población y no se han producido daños materiales".
